Leon and I traveled from the city all the way to the cornfields to meet our new puppy. Because of our long trip, we knew the name Miles would fit best. He's from a silver labrador litter but he was the lightest of the bunch. Miles is very playful and loves to meet new people and other dogs. He spends most of his days sleeping and snoring but when he's awake he's a little furry ball of energy.
A change of scenery
Miles is still getting accustomed to his new home. Growing up, he got used to the surrounding Iowa cornfields, horses, and the four same people (breeders) he saw everyday. When we took him out for his first walk at home in the city, he was a little scared to even go potty when the buses and trains go by. Everybody instantly fell in love with him though and all the dogs wanted to play with him. It is his second day out and it looks like he's the one who wants to meet everybody and he's getting used to the change of scenery especially when bystanders stop to meet him. The boy sure loves the attention :)
