Pets - our animal companions, are members of the family and often have a considerable presence in our lives and in our hearts. The term "man's best friend," brings to mind unconditional love, faithful companionship, and complete acceptance. With this capacity to love our pet comes the necessity to grieve when that "best friend" dies.
